They are a local charity and their advice is free. They are open Monday – Thursday 9.30am – 3.30pm and Friday 9.30am – 12.30pm. There is a bottle bank at The Limeburners Pub with money raised from this going to the Offton & Willisham village hall. At Somersham there is a bottle bank and a paper bank, whilst at Barking Community Centre there is a bottle, a paper, and a clothing bank.
Community Tips are at Stowmarket and Hadleigh and take all waste including Oil and Metal. These sites also sell ‘green' compost that has been re-cycled from items collected by refuse lorries or left at the tip. Height restrictions apply at the entrances to community tips.
This is normally TUESDAY in both villages, alternate weeks for recyclables and ordinary waste, Brown Bins on THURSDAY.
Collection is usually one day later following a bank holiday.

Salt Bins are provided near Willisham Church, in Tye Lane opposite North Acre, Willisham and at the junction of Ipswich Road turning to Offton (near the Limeburners), by St Mary's Close and Castle Lane, and Lower Coney Grove,Offton . This salt is provided for use on the steeper sections of roads in the vicinity of the bins, particularly before these are gritted and to assist highway use and safety generally.
